Try this: C:\>DIR /AH $MFT $MFTMirr $LogFile $Volume $AttrDef $Bitmap $Boot $BadClus $Quota $UpCase (This used to work on NT but doesn't seem to work on Server 03) The Meta-Data is neither files nor directories, so having them appear in the directory structure is more an accident than trying to hide them. If you were granted any type of access beyond seeing the Meta-Data file sizes, you would be courting disaster. It would be a convenience to be able to get a quick view of the meta-data and its size however. In place of being able to see it easily from CMD.EXE or Explorer, you'll need the NTFSINFO tool from SysInternals to view it. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 106/2000 633/267 |
