Hi Alan,

By 'merge', I assumed it'd consolidate repeats.  But reading what you wrote,
I'm guessing the other 'merge' meaning applies; that is, it takes the two
nodelists and merge them together. With that understood, I've just taken to
use NODELIST instead.
