Oh now that's interesting.

If I map an admin share  using \\ipaddress\c$ then I can't drag and drop,
if I map the same admin share using \\server\c$ then I can. Nothing else
changed, same share, same share properties, same paths, only the way I
attached to the share changed.

What the heck would cause that? Gotta be something in this last batch of
patches and it's gotta be the patch on the machine I'm using not the server
because I don't patch this server.

Thanks Gregg, now I've got a workaround and I know to watch the patches
next time I configure a machine to see if I can find the guilty one.
