Dual brakes don't seem to mean squat...
I've been in about three different situations where I lost half the brakes.  
In one case the axle seals failed and I got gear oil all over the rear ones,  
whoops,  all of a sudden I don't have the braking I'm supposed to...
The other couple of times was because of front hose failure and those times 
it was like I had no brakes at all.  Dual systems didn't mean a whole lot,  
not at all.
