Last week, another F16 (GD-Lockeed) fighter had an APU failure on
the ground at Florennes AFB/Belgium; when fired, the APU "gazed" both the
Crew-chief and a trainee working alongside with him.
This is the American built fighter that had many many problems with
hydrazine pollution (as well as poisonning peoples'blood system)
The USAF uses this APU on this electric jet to provide Electrical and
hydraulic power in case of an emergency.
The plane is still flying around even if the Governement knows Hydrazine
is a carcinogen. Think what happens to civilians in case of a crash.
On the Florennes TLP'apron last week, we had all brands of F16
US' from Aviano, Partuguese, Belgian, Dutch, Danish and Norwegian...
Who on earth knows something about the "carcinogen properties"
of Hydrazin? What actually does USAF about that APU system?
