I would think so, however copying profiles is a little tricky. You can't
simply copy the files. The file ntuser.dat contains codes that specify who
has permission to use the profile. When you copy ntuser.dat you have to
change the file contents to make it work for the new user.

This issue will have been explored a thousand times and some Microsoft
papers on migrating domains must cover the topic. The built-in tools
(System Properties, Advanced, User Profiles) allows copying profiles on the
local workstation and provides a "permitted to use" button that
you click to specify the target user. There must be other tools ... let me
know if you find them.
