In one day you easily drive to Italy. It's autobahn (Highway) all the way.
I once drove from Kiel, it's where the ferry from Sweden land in Germany, to
Munic in Bayern in 7 hours and that's 900 km. It was when I worked at SAAB
and I had a company-car thet was a bit "special" with a scared
turbo automatic
and the last 200 km took 50 mins. and that mean I had over 230 km/h and if I'm
right that will be about 140 miles/h on a 3 lane highway all the time. The only
cars that overtook me was a Mercedes 600 and a super Porsche.

It's a big country. If I should drive for 24 hours I would probably end up in the
