* EleBBS Support List Nope. It's on a pretty fresh box right now with only elebbs and irex running. I don't even have a firewall on it as it is behind the nat and accessible only from either the local network (which I've tried with the same results, even on the same box) or via port forwarding, so a firewall really isn't necessary (especially since I don't install or even rarely web browse on it). I'm starting to think that my xp64 box might be the problem, since this started happening after I got that box. The BBS is running on 2k Professional. I can't imagine that the xp64 box would be the problem though, as I mentioned even doing "telnet://192.168.0.4" from 192.168.0.4 has the same delay that getting in any other way (other than 127.0.0.1) has. This is frustrating. Has anyone else out there experienced this that might be able to help? -----Original Message----- From: Mike Ehlert [mailto:mike{at}pcmicro.com] Sent: Thursday, May 11, 2006 12:24 PM To: elebbs{at}thebbs.org Subject: Re: EleBBS: delay... * EleBBS Support List > Actually, it's an actiontec modem. Yeah that is odd... so there is no security internet software installed that might be interfering?
