Thank you, I'm here all week.  In all honesty, I've given up on titles. 
Corporations will say whatever they want to say about a given profession.  For
example, when I first started at my last company (that would be twenty-one
years ago), I was a Senior Programmer Analyst.  What the hell is that?  My
understanding was that they looped mainframe programmers in with Windows and
*nix systems administrators.  As time went on, they changed my title to
"Systems Integration Analyst" and the different promotion titles (Senior,
Specialist, Principal, etc.), then, when they ran out of that, they decided to
say, "Okay, what would you like to be called?"  I finally said, "God!"  That
didn't take.  So, my title went like this, and I'm not joking:

        Lead Cloud Platform Architect
        Lead Principal Systems Integration Analyst
        Lead Systems and Storage Architect

I literally had three titles!!!  At one point I said, "Fuck it!" and referred
myself as the first but found that in non-cloud communities it loses its
luster.  So, I use each when necessary.  Now, I'm happy with "Senior Engineer".
