I'm looking at the manual from MSGED41M.ZIP.  Is that the latest?

For mono colours, the manual says try

Colour Normal whi /bla
Colour Warn  bla /whi
Colour Quote whi /bla
Colour Block bla /whi
Colour Info  whi /bla
Colour Hilite Bla /whi

This is just after where it says that you can use short names for colours,
whi for white and bla for black and so on.

Msged 4.2 beta 3 says "Unknown colours" to that set - but it
obeys them.  If I change the names to upper case;

Colour Normal WHITE/BLACK
Colour Warn   BLACK/WHITE
Colour Quote  WHITE/BLACK
Colour Block  BLACK/WHITE
Colour Info   WHITE/BLACK
Colour Hilite BLACK/WHITE

it still obeys them but no longer complains about it.

Sort of a non-bug, really  ;-)
