BB> Are you looking for something like the unix termcap database
   He is looking for a way to interpret ANSI escape codes,
   using Borland's cprintf() and  library.
   A fairly simple matter, given the means to trap and decode
   the escape sequences and pass on the text to putch().
   The main trouble will be in cursor control in a limited
   window, where the desired coordinates do not exist in the
   given window, and the display will have erroneous data
   written in the wrong locations. Such limitations would need
   to be addressed specifically by the programmer, depening upon
   their own needs and designs for their application.
