Hahahahaha. That's a good one. See, there's just one thing: if you
can't stand getting treated like dogs, you really can't make yourself
stay, not even if you WERE getting paid more than the high-school kid
at 7-11. That's been my only complaint: having management care that you
work there. That goes back to "If you don't do it my way, even if it's
the wrong way, you CAN be replaced", that goes back to the "there's
too many people in EMS", that goes back to "there's a demand for new
hires", that goes back to the start, where everyone quits because
they're treated like cattle. Granted, more money would temporarily ease
the pain, but not for long... I quit a company (one of the top 3
largest in the world), and went to their competitor (one of the top 2
largest in the world), knowing I was getting my wages literally cut in
HALF, JUST because they treat me alot better than the old place. So, to
correct your statement I quoted above.... Once you find that employee
that cares about you, and treats you with due respect, you stick with
them.
