Thanks for your suggestion to my Access problem.  I'll try it.  I'll have to 
look in my book about using dialog boxes.  I haven't gotten that far yet. I'm 
teaching myself Access.  Thanks again.
Do you also know how I can get Access to let me know when I've entered a 
duplicate record and to let me choose if I want to continue or to not 
continue with adding that record?  Take care.
