I'm not surprised. I expect Tower Hobbies is the largest RC retailer
in the world. A few years ago, I ordered a Conquest 4ch radio from
them. I called in advance, to be sure they had the frequency I wanted.
They had 76 units of that model on that frequency. Yes, that's impressive!
When I mentioned retailers, I was thinking more of the hundreds of little
shops. Most of the local shops can afford to offer HiTech receivers on all
frequencies, since they only have to maintain a complete stock of crystals,
along with a few receivers.
Bye now,
Bruce
