Hi there everyone: What's happening with this conference? Don't see as
many messages as I used to. Guess everyone is busy reading mysteries :}
Have a question. Does anyone know if Susan Isaacs has written more than
one mystery? I'm a fan of hers and have read a lot of her other novels
that aren't mysteries. But picked up one called Magic Hour. Her
protagonist is a police detective by the name of Steve Brady, tough,
reovering alcoholic.
Just re-read this message to All and discovered I'd left out the
"c" in recover and misspelled humorous. And this from a person who
received A's in spelling while in school. That loud sound you hear
is my English teacher rolling over in her grave. That's what I get
not proof reading before sending. (Hanging head in shame). DR
Excellent story and keeps you guessing through the whole book. This author
has a way with words and is often very humerous. Puts you right in the
scene.
Anyhow, if anyone knows of whether she's written other mystery novels,
please advise.
By the way, I do know of one other; Compromising Positions--which I
haven't read yet-but fully intend to.
Thanks for your reply. Will be back soon. Love reading the input on
what everyone is reading.
Cheers,
Dorothy Reynolds
