I only use binkd on windows as a point to make ad hoc connections to my "boss"
node. If I would run binkd on windows as a daemon, I would probably do it
differently. And might have put it there. But then I would probably also made
some kind of shortcut in TotalCommander to go to that directory in "1 click".
;)

But more likely I would do it the linux way and create a \fido\bin directory
for executables and a \fido\etc for configuration files.
