McAfee's suite (trial version) came on a new Dell I'm probably keeping
(over-ordered, and the client bit for two, not three).  I specified
"no antivirus," but guess what installed itself on the second
boot?

So now I'm keeping an eye on the stinker.  On the odd days when I turn
everything on, I'm finding amazing behavior.

o It warns stringently about an installed Alcohol 120%, flagging it as an
"undesired program."

o It won't let you copy something named the same as a Nero 6 serial-crack
generator program to the machine. (I was testing it.)

I suspect this kind of commercial and Big Brother-ish *overenthusiasm"
will be worrying us even more in the *very* near future.
