Nolan, I must respectfully disagree with your claim that I am engaged in
a "smear campaign".
A "smear campaign" is when members of the opposite party spread
deliberate lies about a candidate.
By definition, if they say something nasty about a candidate, and it's
true, it's not a "smear campaign", they're just getting out the truth
about the candidate.
(You've said plenty of nasty things here about Bob Dole, but I assume
you believe them to be true, and are prepared to back them up, so you
haven't been "smearing Bob Dole".)
Now in this particular case, members of Harry Brownes **OWN** party
reported that he had never publicly defended the 2nd Ammendment and
didn't personaly own any guns.
**IF TRUE**, then these two facts should raise some questions in the
minds of any pro-2nd voter about the depth and seriousness of Harry
Brownes commitment to our cause.  They certainly did in mine.
If you were considering voting for Harry Browne, the proper thing for
you to do is to contact his campaign and request information on Mr.
Brownes response to these claims.
This is consistent with the "looking and learning" that ANY political
candidate should be subject to.  Even the Libertarian ones.
No free rides for ANY politician.
