I'm not pleased with XP's handling of HDs on USB2.  Then there's the
"slow on filecopies under SP2 with FAT32 disks/camera cards/thumb
drives" problem.  Put that together with what you saw, and yuk.

How's Linux on this?  Do you have a preferred filesystem combo?  A
preferred distro?  And throw in a cure for herpes and a shortcut to World
Peace while you're at it, would you?
