I think the 'puter won, and Kasparov's assessment that the program was 
designed especially to beat his style of play and wouldn't hold up in a 
-real- tournament is probably right on the money.
I'd like to see IBM offer that computer up to a tournament style match now 
with three to four grandmasters. Then... IBM will have something to brag 
about.
