Hello Robert,
RB> Oh, shit! Does this crap now have to appear here? I'm absolutely NO!!!
RB> fan of soccer and the absolute _hysteria_ here in Germany sickens me.
Me neither when everything colours orange when the Dutch team plays football.
RB> When the German re-unification occurred, I once tried to get a German
RB> flag to display on my front door. Imposible! They simply weren't
RB> available.
Than you did not search at the right place.
Go to a ships store, where you can get such things.
Every (inland) ship needs one or more flags.
We even need a greeting flag when Dutch sailors go to Germany.
RB> THAT would have been a reasonable and justifiable time to
RB> display the flag. But nobody did.
That is a "sign" by itself, figures.
RB> Nowadays, everyone and his dog waves the German flag - even draping
RB> their cars with it - when the damned soccer champtionships come around.
RB> Now THAT's sick!
Indeed that is the opposite way round.
Did you see how many flags were used at the last Olympic games?
Henri.
