subject: Troublesome switches

Hello Kim!

ML> Cannot switch off either the ^aFLAGS nor the ^aPID in the NetMail
 ML> area.

KL> You should not be allowed to switch ^aFLAGS off. A *.msg
KL> header do not support all attribute, so we need FLAGS
 KL> there.

It was an option before. Why not now?

KL> About PID.. OK it is not a demand, but I can't se it is a big problem
 KL> ,-)

Same question, why not now? ;)

ML> Also, how can I get the cursor to be positioned at other
ML> than the beginning of the first line ({at}nHello %tfn)?

KL> Whats is because it is a feauter there isn't in msged, but it is not a
KL> stupid idea I put it on the todo list.

ML> I don't seem to be able to find a method of inserting a
ML> carriage return (0x000d) in the template file.

KL> hmmm. This should do the trick:
 KL> --------
KL> {at}nThis is the first line.
 KL> {at}n
 KL> {at}nthis is the 3'ed line.
 KL> --------

Tried that and the output does look like your example. BUT the cursor
_remains_ parked at position 0 (at left margin, first line of message
body) until I move it down with the arrow keys to the place I want to start
typing.

ML> One other switch that doesn't seem to be working is "Switch
ML> RightNextUnreadArea OFF" -- either OFF or ON it jumps into the
next area
ML> with the right arrow key.

KL> I look into that, is sound a little strange. I'll look into it and return
 KL> the answer.

ML> Thanks for the continuing efforts, both to you and everyone else working
 ML> on this development.

KL> Thanks for the nice word, but I'm not alone there are more than just me
 KL> :)

I know! ;-) Thanks guys!
Best regards,
Marc
