I would think that Voyager has some sort of method of refining raw ore
to get the duranium that is needed to patch the hull.  Try the Star
Trek: Technical Discussions echo.  They would have a better idea than
I would.  (Besides, I'm into Trek for the stories, not the technical
B.S. )
