No, you didn't type 'Da' („ ). You typed 'Vf'

Because the '­' is under the same button as the Latin 'y'.

Russian 'D' („) is under Latin 'L'
Russian 'V' (‚) is under Latin 'D'

BTW: You did type 'H¥â' , but your editor wrote '¥â'. (case of "the soft
return" ;-)
