Yes. I don't know if I can tell you the exact steps, since I don't
currently have a pending update, but I think this is close enough:

1. Click on the shield to open the wizard 2. Select the advanced option to
show a list of pending updates 3. Uncheck the item(s) in the list that you
don't want to install 4. Click the close button
5. On the warning dialog that appears, check the "Don't tell me
   about these" box (or is it uncheck "Tell me about these" -- I
   don't remember)
