MB>Here is a rather sad update, copied from Szarletma's post on AOL.
MB>> I hate to say but our birds have not been returned. The following
MB>birds were stolen:
MB>2 scarlet macaws S/S M,F
MB>8 jardines S/S M,F
MB>1 medium sulphur crested cockatoo. This was my first bird purchased.
MB> Feather plucked--very shy.
MB>50 orange wing amazons. S/S M,F
MB>6 mealy amazons. S/S M,F
MB>70 congo african greys. S/S M,F
MB> Some of these birds I have owned for over 20 years. These birds
MB> were beaten and taken out of their cages. Feathers were everywhere,
MB> and blood. I am sure that some of the birds were killed. If anyone
MB> knows of any birds that have shown up anywhere they shouldn't be
MB> please e-mail Scarletma@aol.com
MB> Thanks everyone.
MB>Addendum_
MB> We have a complete list of band numbers, microchip numbers,
MB> imperfections, etc. Anyone with bargain birds is urged to contact
MB> me. Some of these birds I have had for over 20 years, bought as
MB> babies. We have a full 24 hour investigation on the stolen birds.
MB> Anyone that suspects anything is urges to contact Scarletma@aol.com
MB> or the Station 4 Police Department in Miami.
