Actually, it happened in Birmingham, England, where I lived when I was 
a kid. 
  
My parents were both MDs, but they were both out at work when this 
happened. The cleaning lady patched my foot. When my mother got home, 
she pulled off the bandage and looked at the foot, then she just put 
another bandage on and said that there was nothing more that needed to 
be done. 
  
I sometimes use Crazy Glue on minor wounds. It does work well.
