    I used the running martingale on Daisy when I trained her, Meg ...... 
martingales are not allowed to be used in the shows. The horses learn pretty 
fast that if they keep their heads down in position it doesn't pull on them 
..... it's just a training method to teach them to set their heads in the 
proper position.
