 Unfortunately, the music volume control also controls the CD volume, so
 disabling music effectively disables the CD as well.
 There IS a way around this: run the setup program and tell it you don't
 have a music card.
 The CD can then be played without interference, although the volume
 level may not be what you want.  Best bet there is use your sound
 card's volume utility to set the CD level where you want it.
