Hello g00r00 (& Christian)!

On 05 Aug 2021, g00r00 said the following...

I, too, noticed some messages having 6-7 or sometimes even more empty lines a
little at random, when reading them. Only seen it lately.

Please feel free to Telnet to scbbs.nsupdate.info:50023, SSH to
scbbs.nsupdate.info:50022 or use the web-based Telnet at scbbs.nsupdate.info, login as guest/guest; from the (M)essage menu, (J)oin FidoNet (3) and change to MYSTIC (40). Then (R)ead and check messages 668-669, 671-672, 674-675, 680, 685, 689-692, among others.

Not sure if this is caused by something that is "on the edge" at the posting system, if something gets mangled "on the way" or when importing, or if it is purely a display issue.

But I noticed it does appear in an e(X)ported file of the message from within the BBS, too (please feel free to try this as well).

Also appears in ASCII. :o)

Best regards
Bj”rn
