Huh?  You gotta check out Japan trains.  Not at all like that.  Sleeper
cabins ¨and such.  Sure you can carry your luggage if you want to, or you
can check it ¨in.  Don and i travel often so learned to pack tight and
might use just a ¨backpack each, but thats just so we dont have to bother
to check baggage in and ¨out.

We have rental places, but the laws here are very different and your
license ¨where you are probably wont work here.  Also as you do not have
Japanese ¨insurance, you will have to pay extra (quite expensive) to cover
that.  I ran ¨into that same insurance mess when we were stateside as we do
not have USA ¨insurance so had we rented a car there, we had to pay 20$ a
day more.  We opted ¨to use a cab as it cost less in the long run.
