From: "Frank Haber" Right you are. A bit of web-diving produced the surprising info that REGEDT32 is the older, and started in the NT3.5 era. I had no idea. I'd been made gunshy by the Win95's Regedit crashing with large registries, and saving a damaged registry - thus the many replacement registry editors in the 95/98 era. For some reason I'd got it in my head that the "32" meant "newer, superior."
