They seem to love Hackberry berries almost as much as they do Anaqua
berries. (Their absolute favorite.)  We've let our fence-rows grow up
with Hackberry and Anaqua trees, and have wild birds of ALL kinds in
them year round.  We had Groove Bill Ani's one year who ate EVERYTHING!
Mockingbirds spread Hackberry seeds like you wouldn't believe!!
Sometimes the berries ferment in their tummies and they stagger around
drunk as Lords!  (Cussing the  cats and otherwise making fools of
themselves.)
