No, I was not aware of that. I fetched my main nodelist from my boss node
(Tommi, Zone2) and the diffs automatically arrive from there too.

When this first started, I may have grabbed the list from Z1 Filegate
site. Then, I may have grabbed a subsequent nodelist from Terry Roati's
system in Zone 3 (but I don't remember).

My .017 copy (in WinPoint) looks like a Z1 version
My .024 copy looks like a Z1 version.
My .031 copy is a Z1 version.
My .038 copy is a Z2 version, but it says..

;A FidoNet Nodelist for Friday, February 7, 2020 -- Day number 038 : 00105
;A The FidoNet DAILYLST, a listing of the systems within FidoNet.
;A
;A This is the DAILYLST produced at 2:2/0

Is the latter compatible with the diff process?

And, am I to understand that Diffs from my Boss/uplink cannot be used with
full-nodelists offered from Z1 sources?

Thanks for quoting the header info in each. The Z2 version has a very
clear warning about its usage, but I must confess to say that I never read
the darn thing for leisure! I never noticed anything similar to the Z2
info in the header of the Z1 version.

Let me know if I must replace the current Z2 DAILY .038 that I have
inorder for the diffs to work.

Good sleuthing!
Thanks.
