I've seen some of them (I even have a portable IBM [portable in the sense of 
'is twas made to be transported', 1mx1mx30cm] with a 8086).
It is true that there are only a few 8086s, because IBM went to the cheaper 
(and later also faster than 4,77MHz) 8088s
The processor reported to exist, but which I've never seen is a 80186. It 
must have been succeeded by the 286 too soon.
