RV> More likely, they're the _descendants_ of escapees. We have bunches

There is quite a growing colony of Quakers here in Austin. The last time
I was at the park I noticed that they were establishing a new nesting
site around a transformer on a telephone. The little guy was perched
on his front porch screeching his message.
There is a feed store here in town that throws its old seed out for
the wild birds. I was told that the Quakers are making it one of
their regular stops.
