Unless you are VERY experienced at handfeeding I would not recommend
buying a bird that is not weaned...or even almost weaned. When a bird
is weaning it is a crutial time and stressful for the little guy. It
is much better to get a bird that is weaned.
By weaned, I mean a bird that is no longer being handfed and that has
been eating on its own.
