I'd for sure find out what "borderline" means.  Maybe you need bifocals?  I
just started wearing contacts.  I enjoy wearing them but still need reading
glasses to see close up.  They do have contact's with bifocals but with my
astigmatism being so bad they couldn't fit me well enough.
