BD> Aha! Another pragmatist on the loose..
KW> A fellow I chat with daily has a theory that there is a connection
KW> between spring time and women wanting to paint (walls, etc, not
KW> pictures)..
I agree with him! Then, too, there's the matter of full moons, idle
time, and general male bashing which seems to require no particular
onset of special conditions!!!!!!! Hehhehheh
KW> .. I have been checking out the paint for the fence and the
KW> entrance way..
All this can summed up neatly with a Dagwood phrase: "Husbands are

actual actual painting before you `let him' turn up the earth where
the flowers will be planted!
BD> Money makes the world go 'round, alright. I rather enjoyed my
BD> tour in the press corps..
KW> At one time I thought I would like to be a reporter, but I always
KW> end up with a column instead.
Some people get ALL the luck!
BD> I gather you *DO* enjoy writing your column, Karen, and I'd be
BD> amiss if I didn't say it's probably darn good reading, too!
KW> I have only done guest columns for the Ottawa Citizen [recently,
KW> and] any statement or happening that caught my attention was fair
KW> game. My son did ask me a couple of times to leave him out of it
KW> though :)
Don't listen! Who would Irma Bombeck(?) be now is she had chickened

And the world would be cheated out of a budding novelist?
