OS/2 v4.0 (no fixpack, XR04000) cannot read from floppies (drive A).
It can successfully, but attempts to read result in CRC errors and
a SYS0041.  I've tried different floppies, all giving me this error.
Also, I've accessed those floppies from Win95 on the same machine
without any difficulties (extracted ZIP archives).
How would I go about solving this problem?  Which device statement
in config.sys could be modified (i.e. switches)?
