North of here at Grey Bull, Wyoming, is an outfit that fights forest fires 
with old and aging aircraft. The company is known as Hawkins & Powers 
Aviation and they use many round engine birds inlcuding C-97s, C-119s (they 
have more than a dozen ex-Canadian AF C-119Gs), a C-82, P2V-7s, DC-6s (C-118) 
and a B-26. On the turbine side, they have an ex-USN EP-3 and an ex-Spanish 
Navy P-3 along with several ex-USAF C-130A & Bs. At one time they had more 
than a dozen ex-Canadian Lockheed PVs. Very interesting place to visit. It is 
about 400 miles from me and about 3 years ago, I foto'd them all.
