Re: haunted places By: Cindy Haglund to Mike Roberts on Tue Aug 09 2005 11:05 am > If our body parts are a union, yeah. What are evps? Okay, that explains it. EVP's are like when Ghost hunters or psychics take recording equipment out on a site. They then record while they are exploring and asking questions. Many times the naked ear ( gee that sounds funny ) does not hear anything. but when you listen to the recordings sometimes you can hear voices that you did not hear while you were actually there. The digital equipment picks it up. some of the eerie ones I have heard, is like two Women investigators were in a cemetary at night. They were sitting in chairs and recording and having a normal conversation in the dark. when one woman feels a tug at the blanket she has across her lap. She asks the other woman, "did you do that?" Do What? Pull my blanket? The other woman says no. Upon listing to the recording when they returned. At that point when she asked that question. A small childs voice in the recording says "I Did it". wow gives me the chills just remembering. There are a lot of em, I'll post some websites after I dig em up again. Other ones that scare me or make me uneasy are the ones where investigators enter a house or cemetary and upon reviewing the recording later they hear Angry voices telling them to GET OUT!! There is something ethreal about evp recordings, just the sound of em can make you uneasy or sometimes you detect the ghost is sad. Anyway will send some websites in a bit. > > Ghosts always seem to be white tho... why is that? > MR> I think you are being a little politically incorrect here. > ((I had a bad feeling this would happen. :) )) That line you posted, just struck me, I couldn't resist 8-) > I received a fantastic website where you type in any location and > find out what places are haunted there... Some come with pics. > I'll try to find the site if you're interested. :) Sure! Thanks! Mike ... No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway. --- SBBSecho 2.10-Win32* Origin: :::The Holodeck BBS:::Telnet://holodeck.myip.us (1:261/1381) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 261/1381 38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
