| subject: | Re: Hotfix Symbols File |
From: "Frank Haber" Ah, that kind of symbols. I wonder why they're handing that out with hotfixes? What's the cheapest NT debugger out there? Do you have to run a debug build of XP to use it? How much does that increase device latency? How buggy is running same, broadly speaking? Is this .PDB format universal? Do all debuggers use the post-386 debugging instructions these days? And I don't think I could get much mileage out of SYMDEB these days, right? And an 80286 ICE clip isn't too useful, either? --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 106/2000 633/267 |
