Exactly which modem did you flash with the 118 Beta and was able to get 
31.2K connections with? I have tried it with the OMNI288S and have seen 
no improvement whatsoever. Also ZyXel tech support in the US has 
indicated that the OMNIs will not do 33.6K connections but will be able 
to do 56Flex but only after the standard has been ratified. Their 336 
model modems will of course do 33.6k connections but will not be 
upgraded to 56Flex.
