There is no dependence between y2k-patch and registration. If your NetMgr
with y2k-patch is running (with the restrictions of an unregistered
version), something is going wrong by generating your registration key or
you have overlook something.

Have you note the instructions in the asc-file?

RegisterName ________
in NetMgr.cfg
The file ________.KEY holds your registration key, and should
be renamed to NETMGR.KEY in the NetMgr directory.
