More likely, they're the _descendants_ of escapees. We have bunches of them
in Florida; there's a huge flock of quaker 'keets in the southern part of the
county, and one of mongrel amazons in the north (centered a few blocks from
here). They are one NOISY gang of birds :-)
Newly escaped birds either get re-captured, et by hawks, or find their way to
a feral flock.
