SHUTTLE COLUMBIA ACCIDENT PRESS CONFERENCE SCHEDULE CHANGED
The press conference schedule for Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003 has
changed.
There will not be a NASA Headquarters press conference at 11:30 a.m.
EST on Feb. 4. It has been cancelled out of respect for the Space
Shuttle Columbia crew memorial service and to allow NASA employees to
watch the tribute.
There will not be a 4:30 EST press conference at the Johnson Space
Center tomorrow. The 4:30 EST press conference for Feb. 4, 2003 will
be in the NASA Headquarters auditorium, 300 E Street SW, Washington.
The press conference will feature questions from reporters at
participating NASA centers and will be broadcast live on NASA
Television. There will be an 11:30 a.m. EST press conference at NASA
Headquarters and a 4:30 p.m. press conference at the Johnson Space
Center on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003.
NASA TV is available on AMC-2, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85
degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is
vertical and audio is monaural at 6.8 MHz.
