that would depend on what age You would be willing to take the bird. There

many breeders that will sell babies at 2-3 weeks of age to someone willing to
hand feed them, but for someone not experienced in hand feeding that can be
quite an undertaking. For the normal person wanting to purchase one of these
as a pet it should be purchased as close to the time of weaning as posible
