The natural gas comes in to the home from a piped distribution system while
the propane is in a tank outside and a good long distance from the house.

That's roughly what we pay and it's enough to stop me from plugging in a a
in-car heater as well as a block heater.  We have a hot tub which eats up
electricity.

Other than something like studded tires, there are not enough differences
to get hyper about them.
