The Grey Parrot is a nice bird. They sell for $1100-$1300 in a pet store.
Yes, there are places in Florida and other states that sell for less...
but you also can't sell what you are getting, you don't know the breeder,
and there are shipping cost. If you haven't had other large parrots you
might want to rethink buying a Grey and opt for a Timneh Grey. They are
less tempermental and more outgoing than the Grey.
What part of the country are you in? There are probably reputable breeders
in your area that I can recommend.
